A Peach Of A Deal: Phoenix Solar To Build 38.6 MW Solar Farm In Georgia
Phoenix Solar landed its largest deal as the solar solutions provider announced today that they will be building a 38.6 megawatt (MW) solar farm about 30 miles east of Atlanta.
The Simon Solar Farm is scheduled for completion at the end of this year and the power will be sold to Georgia Power under a 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA).
A subsidiary of Phoenix Solar AG, Phoenix Solar will provide all engineering, procurement, and construction services for the solar farm along with long-term operations and maintenance.
The developer of the Simon Solar Farm, Silicon Ranch Corporation, has previously worked with Phoenix Solar in Georgia. The latest project will increase the partnership between the two companies to almost 50 MW.
This latest project reconfirms Phoenix Solar AG’s commitment to high-growth solar regions including the U.S. and Asia.
