Geckoboard Raises $1.5M For Business Analytics Widgets
London’s Geckoboard has raised $1.5M in seed funding from 500 Startups, DN Capital, HootSuite CEO Ryan Holmes, Path CEO Dave Morin, General Atlantic Partners’ Alexander Bruehl, Pageflakes founder Christoph Janz and Seattle Coffee Company’s John Hunt.
Geckoboard has built software that make it easy for businesses to see all of their key metrics on a nice looking real-time dashboard.
Geckoboard has55 existing widgets on for users to drop into their dashboards for services like Google Analytics, Twitter, Salesforce, Github, Pingdom, Basecamp, Zendesk and Facebook. Users can also hack their own widgets.
Personally, we’d like to see if we could use Geckoboard for online advertising, pulling earnings from different partners. We will do a test and report back.
Geckoboard charges $20 to $200 per month and says it has 1900 customers.
