Business Model: Aggregates and distributes - via WAP phones - games, applications, messaging services, ringtones, and photos in partnership with world’s top brands such as Maxim, Food Network, Wine Spectator, and the creepy Left Behind series.
Competitors: Sorrent, Jamdat Mobile , Digital Chocolate and Game Play Mobile.
Dirt: Relatively unknown in the US, where WAP can’t be found, but thriving elsewhere. Company began as a humor site — the President is a self-styled comedian. Here he deadpans that humor is the great Canadian export.
